On 27 September 2025, multiple families gathered at the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) centre in Ang Mo Kio for the "Let's Play – Chinese Characters Are Fun!" Parent-Child workshop: Learning Through Play. Organised by CDAC in partnership with the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL), the workshop was designed and conducted by Master Teacher Mdm Yang Xue Hui and SCCL Dean of Academic Affairs Dr Zhang Limei for Primary 1 to 3 students and their parents.

        Parents and children explored Chinese characters through fun stories and games, strengthening bonds while discovering the joy of learning together. It was a wonderful day of learning and bonding. The event was filled with laughter, creativity, and spontaneity. Everyone left in high spirits, taking home goodie packs, refreshments, and vouchers contributed by CDAC.
