Dr Cheong Yun Yee, PhD in Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment from University College London, is currently a lecturer at SCCL. Her research interests include language testing and assessment, reading instruction and curriculum, Sinophone literature, and translation studies. Ms Su Zhili, Master's degree in Teaching Chinese as an International Language from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University, is currently serve as Research Associates at SCCL.

1. Dr Cheong Yun Yee

       Dr Cheong Yun Yee holds a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Peking University, a Master's degree in Chinese Studies from the National University of Singapore (NUS), and a PhD in Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment from University College London. She was also a Visiting Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In addition, she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Distinction) from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University, and a Certificate in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

       She was a recipient of the NUS Research Scholarship, the Tan Kah Kee Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship, and the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) Postgraduate Scholarship. She has extensive experience working with secondary schools and institutes of higher learning, having served at MOE, NIE, and the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). Dr Cheong is now a lecturer at SCCL. Her research interests include language testing and assessment, reading instruction and curriculum, Sinophone literature, and translation studies.

       Dr Cheong also serves as the Deputy Secretary of the Singapore Association of Writers and the Vice Chairperson of the Tuas Literary Centre (Chinese).

2. Ms Su Zhili

       Ms Su Zhili received a Bachelor's degree from Xi'an International Studies University and a Master's degree in Teaching Chinese as an International Language from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University. With teaching experience across primary and secondary levels in international schools, she has developed expertise in curriculum design and pedagogy. She is currently a Research Associate at the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language. Her research interests include Chinese language pedagogy, technology-enhanced language learning and international Chinese language education.
