Submit Your Story Before It's Too Late! The Deadline for Story Writing Competition on Singapore Chinese Culture is approaching

        9        Jointly organised by the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language and the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, the Story Writing Competition on Singapore Chinese Culture is closing soon. Don't miss this opportunity—join us now!

        The competition aims to commemorate Singapore's 60th anniversary by encouraging Singaporeans to inherit, preserve, and promote the nation's Chinese cultural heritage. A further objective is to inspire secondary students to develop their interest in and appreciation for Singapore's local heritage. The supporting organiser is the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning.

        Eligibility and Requirements:

The competition is open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents aged 13 and above. Participants may participate either individually or as a group. The themes of the work should be selected from "Culturepaedia" and the contents must be suitable for secondary students in Singapore and rich in cultural depth and creativity.

        Attractive Prizes and Publishing Opportunities:

Winning entries will be published as a series of Chinese graded readers and distributed free to all secondary schools nationwide, helping teachers cultivate students' interest in Chinese reading. In addition to attractive cash prizes, winners will also receive a complete set of graded readers. The total value of prizes and rewards of this competition is up to S$10,000!
