1. Dr Tan Chee Lay 

I. 2018 International Forum: Secondary Teacher Education and Instructional Practice of Native Language

       Dr Tan Chee Lay attended the "2018 International Forum: Secondary Teacher Education and Instructional Practice of Native Language" on 10-11 March. The forum was organised by the Department of Teacher and Art Education, Ministry of Education, Taiwan. Dr Tan shared his views at the forum on "Research-Verify-Teach: The Strategy of Teachers' In-service Training in Singapore".

II. Southeast Asia Ecological Chinese Innovative Forum

       Southern University College organised the "Southeast Asia Ecological Chinese Innovative Forum" collaboratively with Sunshine Education Centre on 1-2 June 2018. Dr Tan was invited to the forum and delivered a keynote speech entitled "Drama-in-Education in Multilingual Environment: The Experience of Teaching Chinese Language in Singapore". Over 500 scholars of language research, education and teaching from Malaysia, China and Singapore participated and shared their opinions at presentations, lectures, seminars, open courses and poetry talks.

2. Dr Liu Mei 

        SCCL Senior Lecturer Dr Liu May was invited to deliver a keynote speech at "Reinvention: The Future Beckons" Yew Chung - Yew Wah 85th Anniversary Conference in Hong Kong on 16-17 March 2018. Her speech title was "Differentiated Teaching in the Framework of Learning Community".

3. Mr Ang Swee Choon

        Master Teacher Mr Ang Swee Choon was invited to S4 Clusters Teaching Sharing Session at Alexandra Primary School on 2 March 2018. He shared with the audience "Picture Book Teaching Strategies for Primary Students."
