The "2024 National Vlog Competition for Singapore Primary School Students" continued to attract many participants in its third year running, presenting a platform for teachers and young participants to showcase their creativity and digital prowess.
SCCL Staff Invited as Speaker
On 26 May 2024, Dr Cheng Wan-Ni, Dean of Early Childhood Care and Education, Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL), was invited to conduct a workshop and shared her insights on picture book creation at the 15th Asian Festival of Children's Content (AFCC). On 24 June, Dr Cheng was invited by Xiyao Mandarin Toastmasters Club to give a speech titled "How to Teach with Heart".
SCCL Book Booth at the 2024 National Chinese Challenge Finals
On 27 April 2024, the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) was invited to set up a book booth at the 2024 National Chinese Challenge finals.
SCCL Activities
On 24 April 2024, SCCL took part in "Keep Clean, Singapore!" programme for the fifth time. On 17 May 2024, Staff Bonding Day kicked off with an exhilarating and fun group archery session in the morning.
