Round-table Session on "AI Technology and Language Education of the Future"
Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) and Huayue Education, an education and technology company from Beijing, co-held a round-table session on 1st March 2018. The theme of this session was "AI Technology and Language Education of the Future".
"Infusing Creativity and Technology into Chinese Language Teaching and Learning" Dialogue Session
Professor Jiao Jianli, Director of Future Education Research Centre at South China Normal University and Apple Distinguished Educator, was invited by SCCL to conduct a dialogue session, entitled "Infusing Creativity and Technology into Chinese Language Teaching and Learning" on 5 April 2019.
Overseas Study Trip of Dr Cheng Wan Ni
Overseas Study Trip: Early Childhood Education in Taiwan (Dr Cheng Wan-ni) Over the last two decades, Taiwan's early childhood education has gone through many changes, including regulatory reform, kindergartens and nurseries integration, kindergartens evaluation as well as curriculum reform and lesson demonstrations. As a result, the standard and quality of early childhood education in Taiwan has almost caught up with Japan.

The SCCL Chinese New Year celebration was held on 13 Feb 2019.
New Staff and Interns
New Staff Mdm Wang Juan was appointed as a Master Teacher for Chinese language on 1 Jan 2019 and has since joined Singapore Centre for Chinese Language. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chinese Studies from Central China Normal University and obtained a master's degree in Chinese Studies from National University of Singapore.
