The 5th Graduation Ceremony of the Master of Education (Teaching and Learning Chinese Language) programme jointly organised by the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) and the Faculty of Education of The University of Hong Kong, was held on Friday, 23 March 2018 at SCCL. The Guest of Honor was Mr Sng Chern Wei, Deputy Director-General of Education (Curriculum), Ministry of Education.

        19 students graduated this year. Four of them achieved Distinction and Dean's Honours. They are teachers from a preschool, a primary school and a secondary school as well as a senior project officer from SCCL respectively.

        The programme aims to assist prospective students in their teaching and research and broaden their horizons to develop and acquire a global perspective in education. 93 students have graduated from the programme since it began in 2012.
