"Creativity, No Boundaries!" National Children's Story Writing Competition

In an effort to promote local Chinese literary writing and cultivate student's interest in learning Chinese, Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL) and the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL) co-organised the "Creativity, No Boundaries!" National Children's Story Writing Competition. Winning entries of the competition will be published as a series of Chinese graded readers for local primary students, and all Singapore primary schools will receive complimentary sets of the graded readers.

Copyright License & Declarations
- While the rights of authorship will remain with the authors, all other rights included in the copyright pertaining to the story will belong to the organisers. The organisers reserves the rights to rewrite, publish, copy and distribute the winning entries or parts of the content at any time and in any places, without getting consent from or paying any fee to the authors.
- Stories submitted must be original works. All entries must not have been published or awarded by any other organisations. Stories must not be plagiarized or translated from any sources. In case of copyright infringement, the entries will be disqualified; as for winning entries, qualification will be cancelled and the prize must be returned to organisers. In case the copyright infringement has not been found out in time and the winning entry is published, the authors shall pay organisers any damages, monetary or otherwise, which may be incurred.
- Each entrant must use his/her true identity according to the personal details on his/her IC or Passport. Dishonesty of any sorts found will be subject to a disqualification from the competition.
- Participants should give consent to their personal information being collected, held and used by the organisers, for the competition.
- Story content shall conform to Singapore's laws and regulations, abide by social morality and good orders, not alluding to attacking others or disparaging the reputation of others. Regardless of the form of damage (belonging to tort or otherwise) caused directly, indirectly or incidentally by story content, the authors must take the full responsibility and shall pay organisers any damages, monetary or otherwise, which may be incurred in this relation.
- Organisers will not be responsible for any loss, damage, delay or mis-delivery of the entries. Submissions will not be returned and entrants are advised to retain one copy of their original works.
- All student entrants must obtain their parents' consent; otherwise, they will be disqualified.
- All staff of organisers are not eligible to participate in this competition.
- For group entrants, it is the responsibility of the entrants to allocate the prizes among group members.
- If a winner of any prize cannot be contacted within one month after the release of results, the prize will be forfeited.
- All entrants and the parents of student entrants are deemed to have agreed to and shall abide by the competition rules and regulations by submitting their work.
- Organisers reserves the right of final interpretation of the stated terms and conditions and reserves the right to disqualify any violators.
