This course provides knowledge on how to produce, share and promote online courses. It aims to guide teachers on how to digitize their courses more systematically so as to enable them to meet the future needs of delivering their courses through ICT platforms.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
Use current information technology tools to produce online course contents.
Learn about some useful video platforms for searching suitable platforms to upload and publish their course videos.
Understand the problems that one may encounter in the production of online courses, and explore possible solutions.
Understand the importance of online course promotion and learn some effective methods of promotion.
Find suitable methods and channels to publicize and promote online courses
The course covers the following topics:
How to create a better online learning recording environment with the assistance of IT.
Introduction to accessible tools of video recording for online courses (including script writing, recording editing, subtitle appending) and practice applications.
How to upload videos and related material to platforms, and points to be noticed when uploading
How to promote online courses.
