More than 30 young volunteers from Heartware Network gathered together on the morning of 30 April 2022 to participate in the workshop on Introduction to Singapore Multi-Cultural Heritage led by Dr Foo Suan Fong, Executive Director of Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL).

          During the workshop, Dr Foo explained profound things in simple terms, and engaged the participants by using interesting and relevant examples. The participants actively participated in the interaction with Dr Foo. They were able to relate the content, discuss and reflect on Singaporeans' identity, role and cultural characteristics. Through the group activities, the participants penned what they learned into mind maps.

          The workshop helped the participants interact with seniors confidently, and be more conscious of how to strike up better conversation with them.
