Course Objective

Course supported by CPDD.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1.Select suitable fairy tales from the current textbooks to enrich students’ classroom learning experience.
2.Design language games through extracting and reorganizing the elements of fairy tales.
3.Design at least three different forms of language games


Course Outline

The course includes the following:
1.The values of classic fairy tales.
2.Using fairy tales to design language games, and for improving reading pleasure
3.Using fairy tales to reorganize the story elements, and for inspiring creative imagination.
4.Using fairy tales to nurture language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing, and for promoting CL learning.
5.Design language games through group practice.

Note: Participants are to bring along one of the textbooks from P1 to P3.
