2.Based on the principles, design different types of tasks.
3.Know the task-based language teaching strategies.
4.Design task-based language teaching in listening and speaking.
5.Design task-based language teaching in reading and writing.

1.The definition and the theories of task-based language teaching.
2.The principles of designing tasks:
• information gap
• opinion gap
• reasoning gap
• problem-solving
3.Strategies of task-based language teaching:
• teacing procedure
• students' roles
• scaffolding strategies
4.The use of task-based language teaching in learning listening and speaking.
5.The use of task-based language teaching in learning reading and writing.
6.Hands-on exercises of designing task-based language teaching using current textbooks.
